The Home Nations Cup

Over the past few weeks the home nations have had their hearts broken. The Home Nations Cup website is here to try and reduce that pain. Unfortunately during the summer of 2008 England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will all be hurting once again and the fantastic fans will be the ones to miss out most. Therefore we have started this petition to try and bring back a tournament of our own - The Home Nations Cup. A tournament that we can all be proud of, one where the fans have something to get excited about and one that can bring harmony and pride back to the British Land.

If we are to believe the managers and football bodies of our respective nations then there should be little objection to bring back The Home Nations Tournament, but instead it should be greeted with massive enthusiasm. Ex England manager Steve McClaren kept apologising to the fans. Well England here’s an opportunity to give something back.

Likewise Nigel Worthington recently commented on how proud he was of his players and what they achieved. Well here’s his chance to show what they’re really capable of.

The tournament would be fantastic, and the winner is no forgone conclusion. The Welsh have a bright young squad, the Scots have shown they can beat just about anyone, the team of Northen Ireland impressed in the Euro qualifiers and the English have all to prove.

One last question, should the Republic of Ireland also be included? We believe so but do not feel it is this websites decision, therefore please vote here to make yourself heard.
